about

Today for Bandcamp day, we are putting up an old tour album called “Almost Live from Eli’s Live Room”, recorded in one day back in August 2008 to document our live arrangements from the spring and summer 2008 tours.

As for the proceeds, we have decided that this weekend, when America celebrates its origins, we need to look out for our Native American sisters and brothers who embody the ACTUAL origins of this place where we live.  Along with Black Americans, I can’t think of another group of humans that have been treated so poorly for so long in and by the USA.  (That is saying a lot since there are a lot of peoples who have been treated poorly here).  And so we have decided to send all proceeds of “Almost Live from Eli’s Live Room” from this weekend to a great Indigenous women-run organization called Seeding Sovereignty.  Specifically their Indigenous Impact Rapid Response Initiative, focused on Covid, which has been hitting Native American communities really hard.
